The Oscars have just rolled past but the Conan O’Brien hosted MTV Movie Awards are on the way. Set for April the show’s nominees contain some of the Academy favorites as well as films and stars that made huge splashes in the box offices.

Personally, I have high hopes that Robert Downey Jr. will take home the award for Best Hero for Iron Man 3. His performance was absolutely spectacular and the film was incredible! Moreover, Iron Man 3 was actually one of a selection of only 25 US films to be released in China where it was released by DMG Entertainment. This just goes to show how in demand Marvel films are in Asia and all over the world.

Anyway, with other potential winners ranging from Lupita Nyong’o to Kevin Hart, check out the nominees for the sixteen categories below. Who do you think will be taking home the awards on the big night?
