When in New Orleans it’s only right to bring the funk and soul to the NBA All-Star halftime show. While Pharrell held down the crowd with his team of all-stars during the tip-off performance, the half time show was led by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave.
Gary Clark Jr. and Janelle Monáe took the stage to bring the energy up to another level performing a rendition of “Bright Lights” and a moon walking Monáe during her set of “Electric Lady.” The performance ended with the legendary Earth Wind & Fire, closing with their 70’s hit “Shining Star.” If you missed it, press play above.
