The Dream is looking to fly solo for his future projects. In a cryptic caption on his Instagram, he declared: “Creativity! My own Time my own Way. Just me and spat my Engineer at the Time. No label at All! Perfect.”

In a follow up post, he captioned a photo of the Def Jam logo and declared this move from the label as an Exodus. Through other captions, the artist has reflected on the five projects he’s put out with the label and admits that he will miss his time there.
