Lil Kim and Eve recently took the stage at O2 Indigo stage for another installment of Musicalize. The two fierce rappers were supported by UK’s rap duo, Krept and Konan, Pgige Cakey and legoman GFrSH. Eve and Lil Kim gave a legendary and mesmerizing performance, taking us all the way back with songs like “Who’s That Girl” and “Notorious K.I.M.” Lil Kim’s protege Tiffany Foxx also got her time to shine. 1. N-Dubz’s Dappy Hospitalised After His Horse Kicked His In THe Face.

N-Dubz leading man Dappy was involved in a horse riding incident on Wednesday (27th  Nov). The rapper who was ridding his horse in his Hertfordshire home on subsequently fell off his horse  go kicked in his face in the process.

A spokesperson told The Mirror: ‘I can confirm that my client was involved in a horse riding accident at home where he fell from his horse and was subsequently kicked in the face,’

He added: ‘Dappy was rushed to hospital where he received medical treatment and is now recovering.’ Hoping he recovers soon in time for a new album.

2. Dizze Rascal Awarded Honarary Doctorate 

Dizzee Rascal who recently took over headlines due to his outburst regarding Radio 1’s lack of support for his new music, has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of East London for his work with his community and arts.

The recognition of the East London rappers work has definitely been given the highest award. With his debut album The Fifth rising theres no doubt that the Bow native is riding on a high as the year draws to a close.

3. Professor Green Arrested on Suspicion of Perverting The Course of Justice 

On Monday November 25th, chart-topping rapper Professor Green, real name Stephen Manderson, who turned 30 this week was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. He is currently on bail till next year pending further enquiries.

Reports showed that earlier this month, the rapper had reported a robbery of his Rolex. However, on arrival the police found that Green’s Mercedes had previously been part of a minor collision with an other vehicle. Green was then arrested on suspicion of drink driving and was later bailed.

A police spokesperson said: “A 29-year-old was arrested for attempting to pervert the course of justice after reporting for bail. He is bailed to a date in January pending further inquires.”

 

4. Fem Fel Presents Left of Centre

Fem Fel who had been working tirelessly on his new project is finally ready to share it with us. The second cut, “Massive” shows us a darker side to the rappers persona. Taken from his freshly released EP Left of  Centre the south London MC delivers in a monotone menacing flow in a flickering monochromatic backdrop of  spellbinding looped vocals, wavy synths and triply dubs courtesy of producer Jason, giving us almost gohtic-like club anthem.

The EP which is in a comfortable position in iTunes hip-hop chart is a testament to the rappers return to the fold.

5. Kano Returns With Puppets & Strings

After seeing the lyricists on top form on TopBoy he returns to what he does best with “Puppets And Strings”. A 6 minute long track produced by Spanish duo The Zombie Kids addressing what many want to know. Press play above.

6. Ella Eyre Goes Deeper In New Video

Rising star Ella Eyre has stepped into the role of the solo star that she is. The 19 year old served the official video for her debut single “Deeper”  taken from her forthcoming debut EP. The cut which premiered by Mistajam on BBC Radio 1xtra a few weeks ago saw the singer/songwriter  in a high-spirited visual. Press play above.

7. Sway and Ed Sheeran Reminisce on Back Someday

Sway follows up his Wake Up EP with assistance from Ed Sheeran in “Back Someday”. The cut which is a holdover till his patiently anticipated third album The Deliverance sees the North London native on the soul infused evoking cut. Press play above

8. Ego Ella May Love’s Hard in New Video 

Ego Ella May is a bright singer-songwriter and self taught musician, earlier this year she delivered her Tree EP which received grey recognition making her force to reckon with. The young star is back with the first instalment from her project Love Hard.

The visual accompaniment to the triply soulful track is reminiscent of hippy 80’s and psychedelic vibe expressions complimenting the song. Press play above an dove hard.

9. Kid Ink Spots by Westwood For a Crib Session Freestyle

Whilst in London for his headline show Kid Ink stopped by Westwood’s studio for a Crib Session freestyle. Kid Ink who has a massive fan base here in the UK and was well received spat some fire above. Press play.
