There is no end to the Kanye West rants. During his New York stop on the Yeezus tour, Kanye name dropped Oprah, Bruno Mars and during his last night at Madison Square Garden, he slammed former Christian Dior designer and Yves Saint Laurent’s creative director, Hedi Slimane (again).

“He was once a friend of mine, in the time of Christian Dior,” ‘Ye said, according to Page Six. “And I used to wear his tight-ass jeans when I was on tour and get called names for it . . . And Hedi Slimane was a god who didn’t serve no bullshit . . . But it takes a god to recognize another god. So when he told me you can come to my show, but you can’t come to see Phoebe [Philo] and you can’t come to see Riccardo [Tisci], that was odd. He tried to control me! He tried to tell me where I could go!”

This isn’t the first time he took aim at his former fashion friend. In his interview with Zane Lowe, Ye voiced his frustrations with Hedi for attempting to control the god himself. “When I see Hedi Slimane, and it’s all like, okay, this is my take on the world,” he said in the BBC 1 interview. “Yeah, he’s got some nice $5,000 jeans in there. It’s some nice ones here and there, some good shit here and there. But we culture. Rap the new rock and roll. We culture. Rap is the new rock and roll. We the rock stars.”

While giving inspiration to his fans in his concert, Yeezus is also dropping hints towards some new music for 2014. In a recent interview with Philadelphia’s Power 99, West announced that he’s already in the lab prepping his next solo album to be released in the summer.

“I haven’t named my next album, but I have started on it,” West said.

And that’s not all. The Chicago MC also revealed that a sequel to Watch The Throne and Cruel Winter are all still in the works. Check out the interview with Power 99 below to hear about Kanye’s next venture of switching gears from fashion to education below. – Alley Olivier
