This week became quite interesting courtesy of Wiley. Every week there is someone in the firing line to lead his rant, and this week he came after the ‘I See Fire’ singer, Ed Sheeran. Also new music from Cynikal and Malick IV from his Blood Of A Martyr mixtape. Peep after the jump for more.

1. Wiley Goes After Ed Sheeran

Whilst on Twitter (19th November) discussing what he called “The English Mentality”, the Grime Godfather made some petty snide comments as per usual towards Ed Sheeran who previously worked with him on his early collaborations EP. Wiley ‘s shots indicated that due to the mentality of the English people, the recognition for North London’s emcee Scorcher as the primary founder of the talented crooner was not highlighted as well as his dislike for not being able to release a collaborative track he had did with the platinum selling recording artist because he became more popular. Peep the tweets below.

2. Bipolar Sunshine’s EP Makes Its Impact

Bipolar Sunshine’s Drowning Butterflies EP may have already made his name for the ‘up-and-coming’ list for next year with his one foot in one foot out between self-pity and a positive outlook like a smirk in mid tear. Certainly influenced by the RnB lead piano’s of the 90’s, Merchant showcases his signature sound with melancholy lyrics in bright form with trippy soulful textures and hazy melodies coated in beautifully arranged chocolate vocals. Having found his voice which so suits his 90’s chic look, Merchant gets inspirational on Love More Worry Less and a distinctive dark aura with the titled track. Download and experience the drowning of butterflies through loud speakers and cookie dough.

3. Mikill Pane Asked if ‘You Guest It Too’ with New Mixtape Release.

Hackney rapper Mikill Pane sets his trail for eargsms with a brand new EP ‘You Guest It Too’ – the follow to his 2012’s ‘You Guest It’. Pane’s tongue and cheek serves a true guide to his eccentric characteristics. Boasting with features from Newton Faulkner, GFrsh and Jordan from Rizzle Kicks the EP is electric in many ways and you can tell by just looking at the tracklist.

With the release of his his debut LP ‘Blame Miss Barclay’ earlier this year, ‘You Guest It Too’ is a tide to hold over his screaming fans repeatedly requested for new music to which he severed. Vocals from Jordan of Rizzle Kicks and  cover of ‘Royals’ from the incredible Lorde for new music excluding ‘May Be Wrong’ a heavy guitar led ballad sees Pane changing the shape of hi slow alongside Disturbing London’s GFrsh  shows that the collection of songs is diverces even for the cockney lad.
