Memphis-born rapper Yo Gotti stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show last night to perform two new tracks “Cold Blood,” and “King Sh*t.” Yo, who explained his stage name is a shortened version of his legal name Mario, sat down with Arsenio to discuss the struggle of changing poverty to the positivity through his career in the music business.

He also addressed the state of South in hip-hop and how its style is being accepted worldwide. “I think [the South] is finally getting the credit we deserve,” says Gotti. “It’s been a long time but now it’s being accepted everywhere.”

Both tracks are featured on Gotti’s fourth studio album, I Am which is available on iTunes now. To peep the performance, press play above and check out the full interview after the jump.
