Jennifer Hudson’s star status claimed a physical spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday (November 13). Joined by fiancé David Otunga and son David Jr., the songstress posed for pictures looking stunning in an all white ensemble and her new pixie hair do.

“Just got my star on the #WalkOfFame!! Such an honor,” the singer-songwriter captioned on Instagram.

After music industry executive Clive Davis took the stage to praise J-Hud for all of her accomplishments and contributions to music, the Dreamgirls star took the stage to receive her honor.

“I knew I would get emotional and I’m sure my mom is in heaven like ‘Jenny stop crying’ but now’s the time to cry mama, it is,” she said. “This is an amazing honor as we all know and I did not see this coming. I’m so honored to be here with so many that I love and I feel as though we’re all a family.”
