Peter Gunz stopped by The Breakfast Club recently to talk about his love life and financial status. The tone throughout the interview was both lighthearted and introspective.

The Love and Hip Hop New York star explained that he left his most recent girlfriend, Tara Williams, and is now married to Amina. He admit that there were things that he should’ve done differently within the relationships.

“I’m with Amina,” said Gunz. “Tara and I were in a real dark place and you probably wont see–I don’t know what you’ll see in the show–but we were in a dark place. And I felt like it was the end of the road for our relationship and I was dealing with Amina, me and Amina was friends at first. We started dealing with each other and just to show Amina that, you know, wait for me, because she was like ‘You lying, you lying, you still there,’ I jumped out the window and did something that I regret. Because Tara didn’t deserve that. She deserved for me to come to her and say, ‘Yo, it seems that I’m on the couch, you in the room. We barely, you know, we see each other when we see each other, it’s rough. I’m out.'”

“Actually, I have no explanation for it. It was dead wrong, it was wrong,” Gunz continued to say.

Gunz also denied marrying Amina so she wouldn’t be deported back to Germany. “I would never get married to a person that I didn’t love. It definitely wasn’t for no green card, it was out of love.”–Keith Reid-Cleveland
