Drake seems to need Nicki to check him when he’s trippin, but for how long?

The pink-loving Barb called into DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoolywood Shuffle to discuss her a few things–her now infamous Halloween costume and Eminem–but shockingly (because, well, we though the beef was squashed), she addressed Drake not having in any YMCMB artists on Nothing Was The Same.

“I’m Young Money till the death of me,” she responded when DJ Whoo Kid mentioned her working with all new people similar to her YM cohort. “Drake can do what Drake do, but Nicki Minaj is a whole different person.” She added, “Your team is your team. Who gives a fuck about trying to be different. I’ma always want my team to be apart of my project in some way.”

Although Drake didn’t snatch up Nicki, Lil Wayne, Tyga or the lot for any features on his latest LP, he did tap Cash Money president Birdman for “The Language.” (See his loyalties to Stunna and Cash Money here.) No word on whether the family is buckling over creative (or professional) differences, but it’s safe to assume nothing’s the same between Nicki and Drizzy.
