King Kendrick, alongside the A$AP Mob, Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q, reminded The Breakfast Club that hip-hop is indeed a competitive sport. The artists caught up for an interview before entering the stage for Powerhouse at the Barclays Center this past Saturday (November 2).

When confronted about his BET Cypher verse, Kendrick revealed that there is no ill will between himself and Drake.

“I was having fun rapping. Hip-hop is a sport, and people are going to dissect lyrics. That’s what it’s about at the end of the day,” Lamar said. “I have nothing against Drake.”
