Last night (November 4) BET broadcasted it’s annual honor of African-American women with “Black Girls Rock!”.

This year’s show was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King and they carried viewers through a night of honoring some of the most successful and inspirational black women in the past year.

Earning top honors of the night was Patti LaBelle who was given the Living Legend award. Also on hand to received honors were Queen Latifah, Venus Williams, Misty Copeland and more for excelling as women of color in their various fields.

Throughout the show beautiful black artists provided the night’s entertainment as Ms. Patti, Janelle Monae, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland, Eve, Sevyn Streeter and more took the stage.
