Video: Mannie Fresh Speaks On Possible Hot Boys Reunion

Mannie Fresh, the man behind many of the early Cash Money Records hits, took time out to speak with Vibe. Prominent in the early 2000s, the legendary producer is enjoying “the rebirth of Mannie Fresh” as he has new music collaborations on the way from Wiz Khalifa, Mos Def and over 30 beats in the hands of Kanye West.

While the collection of artist that can find their way on to a Mannie track is already a great list, the most anticipated set to grab one of his beats is the reunion of the Hot Boys.

“We are a lot further than where we were,” Mannie Fresh stated. “Now it’s one of them situations of just doing the paperwork. You know, so we are on negotiation terms, speaking and all of that. Now we just getting the paperwork. If that get’s done you will see it.”
