EDBE2041-C97E-4592-B5E9-6ECB2F6AD177It was truly a celebratory evening last night for Grammy-nominated singer and Texas native, Ciara, who hosted the first-ever Moët Rosé Lounge Series in Houston at the Hotel Derek. The private black-tie event also served as a birthday celebration singer, who over the weekend announced her engagement to rapper/producer, Future.

Getting engaged is certainly an exciting time for everyone involved, but also pre-engagement it can be really nervous. First, you need to find the perfect ring, perhaps looking at custom engagement rings might be the better option, but then once you have the ring, it’s time to ask your beloved. This is quite a nerve-wracking thing, but once you’ve done it, you’ll be so pleased when your loved one says yes! And all you’ll want to do is share about it.

While donning a black Alon Livine dress on the red carpet, the 28-year-old “Body Party” singer gushed about the engagement, while making her first public appearance with the 15-carat engagement ring. The ring is clearly from a luxury jewelry shop montreal due to the opulent features that make it so nice. Also during the event, Ciara was gifted a personalized 3L Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Rosé bottle with crystalized messaging that read, “Happy Birthday Ciara.” It makes sense though that she is excited for her future wedding. Anyone who’s getting married would be. However, it’s important to note that getting married does mean that you will have to plan a lot. You need to figure out where you will get married, what dress you will wear (perhaps you will look at somewhere like this bridal store boston), you need to figure out who you will invite and when you will have it.

This is the fourth event of the 2013 Moët Rosé Lounge series, a six-city black tie event series that kicked-off earlier this year in Washington, D.C. with host Wale, followed by additional events in Chicago with host Fabolous, and in Los Angeles with host Big Sean. The Moët Rosé Lounge will continue through the remainder of the year with celebrity-hosted events in New York City and Miami.
