After being mentioned in Jay Z’s “Pound Cake” verse, Cam’ron has cleared the air a once again that there’s no bad blood between the two NYC-based MCs. But while sitting down with MTV news, Kill Cam says he believes Hov may still have some animosity toward him and his Dipset crew.

“You go to 40/40 Club you’re not allowed to play Dipset music,” Cam’ron explained. “It’s ridiculous. I got DJs who DJ in there, who are my people and you can’t play no Diplomat music in there.”

After the interview, MTV reached out to the 40/40 Club who issued this statement saying, ”There’s no rule set that determines what music can and cannot be played in the 40/40 Club. Our DJs understand what our crowd is looking to hear when they come to Jay Z’s club.”

It will be interesting to see if Jay responds to these allegations, but mostly likely that won’t happen unless on a new album. – Shanae Hatchett
