What an incredible release from Roc Nation rapper J.Cole today, as the new short-film to his chart-topping record “Crooked Smile” featuring TLC makes its debut. In this story with a message, the North Carolina-bred rapper plays the main character, a drug dealer whose daughter gets shot and killed in the midst of a DEA house bust.

J.Cole urges to viewers is to “Please reconsider your war on drugs” and dedicates the sentimental clip to Aiyana Stanley-Jones, a 7-year-old girl whose fate mirrors that of the young girl in the video.
