Wu-Tang Clan To Be Featured On Drake’s ‘Wu-Tang Forever’ Remix
by Karen
The new Drake track “Wu-Tang Forever” has ruffled a few feathers in the Hip Hop community and grasped the attention of the classic group’s following. The track from the forthcoming Nothing Was The Same will only get more interesting as original Wu-Tang member U-God says he and the other members of the group have recorded on the remix.
According to Vibe, U-God and the rest of the clan joined producer 40 in Europe this summer to record the remix. After touching down in San Francisco on Sunday for Rock The Bells the Wu-Tang legend stated, “Meth did his verse – we all did our verses. I wrote my rhyme in probably 15, 20 minutes. We were moving so fast we only had about four hours of studio time. If I had some time to really sit down and get juicy with it, I probably could’ve got juicier with it. But I still do a nice one, I still do a banger.”
Although the original will be included on Drake‘s album scheduled to release on September 24, there is no word on when we will hear the remix. Check out the cosign for the track from the Wu’s twitter below.
