After making a quick appearance at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City, Rihanna jetted to the UK on Tuesday (Sept. 10) to celebrate the launch of her Rihanna for River Island Fall 2013 collection and its follow-up range, Spring/Summer 2014.

The 25-year-old designer rocked a bright blue lip and newly-minted mullet for the occasion while donning a boyish look–varsity jacket and jeans.

According to reports, the Bajan bad gal hung with model BFF Cara Delevingne, who repped RiRi’s G4L logo. “This collection is definitely really special to me. I think I got a lot of freedom and I got to put a lot more of myself into it,” she said of the collection. “We had fun and just went for it and did things we didn’t get to do before, and that’s why I’m excited. It’s different, it’s fresh.”

The 80-piece collection arrives in stores on September 12.
