Yesterday evening, Wale took it to his Twitter account to tweet a picture of J.Cole and himself in the studio working. We all know their talents mesh well together as seen in “Beautiful Bliss“, “You Got It“, “Rather Be With You” and more. Hopefully we’ll get the finished product of this sooner than later. Maybe Kendrick Lamar isn’t the only artist J.Cole is working on a joint album with. It will be interesting to see what they’re working up.Read More
From “Nostalgia, Ultra” featuring a modified E30 M3 on the cover, to an Acura NSX in the visuals for “Acura Integurl,” Frank Ocean continues his obsessive love for classic cars in his latest presentation of what he calls Channel Orange. This time around, the BMW Hatchback is the chosen wheels for the subject of his latest tunes. Undoubtedly, it has something to do with a Cleopatra. Guess we have to wait until July 17th for the reason why. I’ll be waiting. Will you?Read More
Yesterday early into the afternoon, police arrested Ying Yang Twins member D-Roc on DUI charges. D-Roc who’s government name is Deongelo Holmes was on Old Norcross Road in Gwinnett County with his two kids when he was stopped and arrested for driving under the influence. No idea why he would drink and drive in the first place, especially with his kids in the car with him, luckily the kids weren’t harmed during the drive. So much for a Ying Yang Twins comeback. Mugshot below.
While over in the UK, Mac Miller stopped through to talk with Tim Westwood and before leaving, he grazed the microphone for a 8 minute long freestyle over an array of instrumentals. Be on the lookout for Mac’s joint project with Pharrell called “Pink Slime“. They dropped the first official track from the project earlier this week.Read More
It’s finally here. Multi-platinum producer Hit Boy has stepped away from the keyboards, into the booth, and is here on your screen for a debut like no other. You’d think nothing could top the praise from “N***as in Paris” actually in Paris, being crowd surfed in front of thousands of fans thanks to Hov and Ye– but from the looks of it, he may just have one of them surfing at his own shows in the near future. What’s the verdict? Haaaaa???Read More
Mach Five’s most recent collaboration with Gangsta Boo, “Turn Up Juice,” was just a prelude to their next step. Teaming up with former Three-Six-Mafia comrade, Juicy J, they team together for a very unlikely sound. This 4/20-anthem, “Skittlez” is a clever mixture of relaxed, trippy, stoned delivery with a club-tastic beat. This track is set to appear on their June 12th EP Ratchet Shit Vol. 3. What’s your verdict here?

Taking on a new element of what we know as GQ, Waka Flocka makes his first appearance on the June issue of GQ Magazine. Unfortunately, you won’t see the Atlanta rapper wearing a tailored suit and tie, but instead he takes the similar route from his PETA magazine shoot, naked. In exchange for clothes, Waka rocks only his tattoos and a diamond studded watch for this months issue. You can check out the entire interview here.
“No matter how you’re feeling, a little dog gonna love you,” he tells GQ.
