1. 2 Chainz – Based On A T.R.U. Story – 146,626 – Who saw this coming two years ago? Clap for this man.

3. Rick Ross – God Forgives, I Dont 43,406 – At 322K sold, and still in the top 5 on the charts, I think Ross can make it to 500K at some point before Christmas.

6. Justin Bieber – Believe – 34,534 – It’s kind of surprising this isn’t platinum yet.

8. Adele – 21 – 26,241 – This is f*cking amazing, man. For real.

18. Bob Marley & The Wailers – Legend – 17,638 – Not sure what was the cause for this sales spike (maybe the recently released documentary), but any time you get to reference one of the most important musicians of all time, that’s a plus. Also, this album is well over 11M copies sold and climbing.

23. Nas – Life Is Good – 14,936 – Unfortunately, this album may never see gold. But Nas is still riding the best year (career-wise) he’s seen in a long, long time. I can’t wait for the “Bye Baby” video though.

33. Frank Ocean – Channel Orange – 11,135 – You know what, forget it. We’re never going to see one video from this project.

38. Drake – Take Care – 9,921 – New music. Any day now, Aubrey. New music.

104. Various – Project X: Original Motion Picture – 4,584 – I’d buy this off the strength it’s my favorite moment of 2012.
