While lots of people are giving Kanye West credit for, in essence, putting Chief Keef on. Chief Keef, however, begs to differ and he had a message for all his fans and Kanye last night on Twitter.

Last night, Chief Keef sent a message to anyone who thinks that he wouldn’t have made it without Kanye. He sent out the following tweet.

@ me so I know it’s real. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Is Chief Keef out-of-order? Did you really know him before Kanye? Let us know your feelings.

well we’ll see now, since i’m sure kanye won’t put him on anymore.

    • Lil D says:

he doesnt need kanye, he had millions of views before kanye dumbass

dumbass. OH OK so they heard him in MICHIGAN. what the fuck is michigan? 1/50 states. no one heard of him on the west coast or the east coast or in the south. UNTIL KANYE. millions of views don’t mean shit. millions of dollars is what counts and he didn’t have that, and he still doesn’t

  2. He’s with Interscope anyway, so nothing he says will “hender” him as far as that deal goes. As far as future collaborations with any GOOD artist, it’s over for that.

Keef had to have been “on” to a certain degree, for ‘Ye to feel the need to even jump on the track for a remix. I see it as how Kendrick Lamar says “Everybody says that I made it now that I fuck with Dre. If he gave me a handout I’ma take his wrists and break em!” – Spiteful Chant

His saying it wasn’t enough means he still has to grind. He can’t “make it” just because of who was a guest feature on a remix. There’s probably no shade towards Kanye, as an artist you just take your music and craft seriously and if people think you’re “nothing without” such and such or that’s all you hear and get no credit yourself, sometimes you have/want to clear the air. *shrug*

I’m from Chicago, his buzz was ok… But with Kanye no one would have known him nationally. He wouldn’t have did Drake’s tour, on been on the cover of the RedEye, and would have never ever been able to do lallapalooza. Has any one ever heard the original without Ye, nope. Niggas have to learn to stay humble and say thanks and make the most of the wave thrown to you!

  4. Lil D says:

kristalle ur competlly wrong, before the remix everyone from Michigan over here has been lisening to him, for the longest too. Even before the original I dont like,
