McDonald’s rocked the convention center at the 2012 Essence Music Festival last week with sizzling hot talent, fun games and of course plenty of delicious Frappe Chocolate Chip!

Serving as the official event social media correspondent, I caught up with Tyrese and Pooch Hall, who both were involved with activities at the booth, and the fans loved them. Both sat down with me for exclusive interviews to talk about their work with the McDonald’s and what’s next on deck for both.

I was also able to go backstage and chat with honoree Chaka Khan and awards performer Melanie Fiona during the 2012 McDonald’s 365Black Awards. Stay tuned for these interviews coming soon!

I had such a great time working with McDonald’s at both the 365Black Awards and their Essence booth. It was a lot of fun and I am glad I was able to play a role in all the great stuff with McDonald’s.
