With Cruel Summer batting 1.000 on singles thus far – “Mercy” and “New God Flow” – No I.D. let a small cat out the bag at the ASCAP Awards. He’s working with Kanye on his still-untitled sixth solo album.

I’m not sure what’s crazier: that ‘Ye’s already on his sixth solo album (I specifically remember the build up for College Dropout) or that, like No I.D. noted, he “hasn’t missed yet.” While there’s little to no doubt the solo project will be worth writing home about, C.S. could very well flip the industry on its side whenever it touches down this summer. That’s what I’m hoping at least. I need that album that’ll help me transition from the dog days of summer to the melodic routine of fall.
