Bobby Stewart (aka Yung Ka), a young rapper who suffers from a disease known as T-cell lymphoma, has always had a deep love for hip hop. Stewart wrote songs about battling a life-threatening disease and one of his verses included a wish for Mac Miller to mentor him. The two actually met last December when Miller gave $50,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“Feeling like your music really does something for the world makes it all worth it, no matter what,” Miller said. “From now on, no matter what happens for the rest of my life, no one can take that away from me.”

Yesterday Mac continued working with the Make-A-Wish foundation as he helped to grant the wish of Bobby Stewart, as the two hit up ID Labs and recorded some material that we should expect to hear real soon.

“To be with Mac is a blessing,” Stewart said. “His lyrics are amazing. Hip hop is my passion. To be able to be with Mac Miller… he is a Pittsburgh legend… Wiz Khalifa shoutout.”

Stewart’s parents said they’re full of gratitude for Miller and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“(They’ve) given so much hope, brought so much into his life,” Traci Stewart said.
