A very somber day with news coming in that Adam Yauch of the popular trio The Beastie Boys has passed at 47. More commonly known by his stage name, MCA, Yauch has been battling cancer for a couple of years now, and although he has made changes to his lifestyle, his fight has unfortunately come to an end. It is well worth noting that The Beastie Boys were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but MCA could not attend due to his illness.
