Rihanna and Mother Nature are one in the tribal themed “Where Have You Been?” video. The performance-based aspect of the video was a must says Rihanna.

“This one is just all performance. It’s all about evoking an emotion through your body. I was never gonna shoot this video if I couldn’t do choreography ’cause it would be pretty pointless. It would be disappointing.”

The video was directed by Dave Meyers. He chose to capture Rihanna’s beauty just as much as her dance moves. The glow she has in the video just may have been caused after she was named one of TIME’S 100 Most Influential People In The World.
