Drake Wants to Make an Album With Rihanna?

Drake and Rihanna have been linked for some time now, from their reported romantic involvement a few years ago to their collaboration on the title track of Drake’s Take Care. Now it seems like Drizzy wants to take their professional relationship a bit further and join forces with Rihanna for a full length album.

In an interview with Capitol FM, Drake discussed his thoughts on a joint album with the pop star.

I’ve always urged her to let me come and really work on an album for her, with her. I feel like I could do some great writing for her. Actually the Rita Ora song that’s out right now was originally for Rihanna. I’ve got some great ideas so, you know, hopefully when the time is right she’ll send me that text or call me up and say, ‘Hey let’s get in the studio for a month and make an album’, and we can do it.

Their collaborative efforts certainly worked on “Take Care,” and an album between the two would certainly be one of the most anticipated releases in some time. Whether it transpires or not is yet to be seen, but hearing Drake talk about it should be reason enough for fans to look forward to the possibility of a joint album actually transpiring.

From my impression, I think he was talking about mainly writing a project for her like he was suppose to do back before she decided to drop “Rated R”. From what she stated, all the songs skated on feeling sorry & dwelled too much on her feeling distraught about her ‘situation’ with Chris. She scrapped the project & decided to go the bad @$$ route & it worked for her.

These two definitely make hits together & they’ve proved this with two types of sounds. I would like to personally hear an authentic reggae love song (preferably slow) between the two. I mean make her use that accent… I think any good singer could profit from a whole written project from a writer like Drake. Like Snoop said, his pen is his sword.
