In case one has failed to notice, Maurice Garland has been on a tear recently with his string of interviews that includes ASAP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Dom Kennedy, Freddie Gibbs and more. This time around he catches up with Alley Boy for what resulted in quite the revealing Q&A session. Filmed at the release party for Alley’s most recent release, Nigganati, Mo dives into the upbringing of Duct Tape’s most controversial MC, amongst other things.

Instead of focusing on the T.I. and Young Jeezy “beef” I wanted to ask him other stuff and show that the dude isn’t in Big Bad Wolf mode at all times.

We talked about what a “Nigganati” is, who is in it and who can be in it. He also spoke on trying to turn over a new leaf in life and really focus on his career.

What’s funny is given the hardcore nature of many of these rapper’s music, random YouTube videos and radio interviews portray, it’s easy to forget damn near all of them grew up on the same things most of us did. This includes Alley’s favorite cartoons as kid. Carve out a piece of your morning and check this out if you’re longing for an interview that doesn’t ask the same four or five questions.

Shout out to Maurice for sending this over.
