Rita Ora was introduced to many today by her RocNation boss Jay Z on a spontaneous trip to Z100. The London raised pop singer was actually signed to the label in 2009, and has been quietly building her craft. Her first U.S. appearance was a commercial for Roc Nation + Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. When she was originally signed, rumors speculated she had the talent and the look to be the next Rihanna. Throughout 2011, Ora released viral videos building up to her debut album. Approximately 3 years later, Jay Z premiere’s her new single ‘Party & Bullshit.’ It shows how long some artist are in the game before they truly get their shot.
