An Atlanta jeweler is moving forward with a $35,000 lawsuit against rapper Mase.

TMZ reports that Mase has been fighting an ongoing legal battle with Aydin and Company, a jeweler that claims Mase owes them $35,000 dating back to 2005.

According to court filings, Aydin and Company believes Mase has been ducking them at his Georgia home and they’ve had a process server file an affidavit stating that Mase is “evading service.” Whilst this may have come as a shock initially, some people may argue that this wouldn’t have been done unless it was absolutely necessary and there was an established reason for this action. As such, the Process Serving service that Aydin and Company used to issue these court documents were simply just doing their job in an effective, yet professional manner in ensuring that they were representing their clients as well as they can.

With that being said, the rapper has every right to countersuit this action, and so will need to find the best team he can find to help him receive the justice he thinks he deserves in this case. Due to the affidavit he was served, Mase has since filed papers asking for the suit to be dismissed claiming improper service.

He also says he never signed a contract with the company.
The jewelers want their money, attorneys fees and 1.5% interest per month on the money he owes.
