Before Jay-Z and Kanye released Watch The Throne, Drake & Lil Wayne were said to be releasing a joint album as well but we never got it and for months nobody knew the reason behind why the joint album was not put out. Yesterday, Drake revealed to XXL that the album was scrapped because of the comparisons with Watch The Throne, and that’s not what they wanted it to be.

“Me and Wayne scrapped the idea of a collaboration album. We just agreed that it would be looked upon as…It would be sort of this competition [with Watch The Throne]. I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time.’”

There’s always time for everything. I don’t think that it was time for them to release the joint album because as they explained, they don’t want to be compared. http://violinfingerchart.com/

I believe that they both have their own reasons to postpone the album launch. Everything has its own timing. I think it’s the perfect decision for them. My Last Post: http://greatcustomcabinets.com
