Grammy Award-winning musician and long time advocate for AIDs awareness, Alicia Keys, has asked her fans to show their support for an AIDS protest in New York on Wednesday.

Before a strategic discussion took place between world leaders to fight AIDs globally over the next decade – Mrs. Keys took the mic to let her voice reign as she spoke at a United Nations event on Tuesday.

The protest started at Manhattan’s Bryant Park and ended outside the U.N. headquarters, where the General Assembly meeting was due to take place.
