Slaughterhouse Live At The House Of Blues in LA

Life on the West Coast has been an interesting and entertaining experience thus far, especially becoming engulfed in the music scene. The other day I stopped by the House of Blues to check out the Slaughterhouse performance. The quartet of lyrical assassins has been in the news ever since they decided to join forces and form the supergroup. But intrigue around the ensemble has been especially high since their union with Shady Records.

There are two admirable things about the union of Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Joe Budden and Royce. One, they’re a group and that’s damn near an extinct feature in Hip Hop these days. And two, their live show is crazy. Fans not only cheered the whole way through; many of them knew every single word to every single song. For those looking for the next collaborative project, the new album from the group is expected to beĀ releasedĀ in time for Christmas. Until then, look for individual movements from all the members with the most recent being Royce’s highly anticipated Bad Meets Evil LP set to drop June 14.

That was such an awesome show btw! Such an amazing group formed, each with their own unique raw & lyrical talent. I’m looking forward to their next album under Shady. It’s gonna be #EPIC
