After nearly ten years of playing hide-n-go seek with the United States, it was announced late Sunday evening that Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden had been killed by U.S. forces Sunday in a mansion in Abbottabad. President Obama stated that Bin Laden’s death was “the most significant achievement to date in our nation’s effort to defeat al Qaeda.” Bin Laden was the mastermind behind one of the worst attacks on the United States, leaving nearly 300,000 people dead. (referring to when 9/11 occurred.) Now the search is over and he has been killed but no pictures or video proof has been seen to officially confirm that he indeed is dead.
