Barbershop was on TV not too long ago and Eve’s role got me to thinking when (or if) she would ever return to the vocal both. I mean, it’s not like she didn’t have some quality records back in her day (“Love Is Blind” is still one of the more underrated singles in a long, long time) and rumors of a new album in the works had been around for a minute. Hell, she even had a record produced by Swizz Beatz featuring T.I. awhile back, but nothing ever came of it.

One feature doesn’t amount to a “comeback,” but it does get the wheels turning.

Jill Scott enlists the former Ruff Ryder and fellow Philly native to ride shotgun on her new record “Shame” which is slated to appear Scott’s new album The Light Of The Sun coming later this year.
