Ludacris has boarded the cast of New Year’s Eve. The rapper-actor will join Halle Berry, Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara in the follow up to Valentine’s Day, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ludacris will play a New York City policeman who is working with Hilary Swank’s character to set up the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square. Director Garry Marshall is helming the ensemble romantic comedy, which will also feature Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jon Bon Jovi and Seth Meyers.
