Breaking News! Wyclef shot In Haiti

Haitian hip hop star Wyclef Jean just got shot in Delmas Haiti. This news just came in from Haiti, armed gunmen opened fire at Wyclef’s car. Jean was in the car with Busta Rhymes, Jimmy Rosemond and other members of his entourage. No other passengers in the vehicle were injured.
Pras confirms on Twitter: Yes they shot Wyclef and he’s in the hospital and he’ll be fine. They just shot his hand.
Wyclef is in stable condition and is currently being treated in Haiti Hospital for his wound. The shooting comes on the eve of presidential elections in Haiti. Jean is supporting fellow musician Michel Martelly.
UPDATE A spokesman for Wyclef Jean says the hip-hop star has been released from the hospital at 2:45am after being treated for a gunshot wound to his hand.

Why is this happening ? You maybe asking… When something like this happens you may think damn this doesn’t make any sense that it is happening, but you must also realize that whomever was targeting Wyclef
may have been misinformed, just like a huge variety of the people there don’t have the resources to understand what’s happening in their country
… The spot is a third world country that should’ve been richer than any
other Caribbean country, just on sheer history alone. Clef is a prominent figure, but the country men there feel he’s not needed there to do anything dealing with politics … They feel he’s just some outsider that want’s recognition in a country that he left so long ago. The one is who did this is just perpetuating the ignorance!

I’m still not over the fact that he really wanted to candidate for the present election some month ago. That was unbelievable arrogant and just wrong. First world Wyclef Jean is skilled enough to be the present of Haiti? Because of which qualification exaclty? He is rich? He is famous? Yeah, right! That’s what a president in Haiti needs…Haiti is not Northamerica. MAYBE HAITI DOESN’T WANT YOUR HELP, WYCLEF!!! Just a quest…
