Rick Ross Signs Pill To Maybach Music Group

Rick Ross is on a mission to build a powerful empire from the ground up, and so far that’s what he’s done. First it was Wale, then 2011 Freshman Meek Mill, now as of late last night, the newest acquisition to the Maybach Music empire is 2010’s Freshman Pill. From the looks of the moves Rick Ross is making, it does not seem like he’s going to slow down in the recruiting process. Which leads to the next question, who’s up next to join the Maybach Music empire. We’ll have to wait and see.
Congratulations to Pill. Didn’t even see that one coming. Rick Ross should branch outside of rap/r&b if he wants a real empire. You want to be the next Diddy/Jermaine Dupri or Jimmy Iovine/Lyor Cohen? With the signing to a major label maybe he would be satisfied at just being this decades Diddy. That would completely finish his emulation of 90’s Bad Boy.
