That Black Hippy movement is serious and if you haven’t emersed yourself in the music yet, there’s still time to do so. For the purpose of this particular post, check out Kendrick Lamar’s O(verly) D(edicated) and Schoolboy Q’s Setbacks. From there, immerse yourself in Ab-Soul and Jay Rock’s releases. Rinse and repeat and keep doing so until you finally jump on the bandwagon and sip the Kool-Aid. The talented Devi Dev (who helped host a dope series with Terrace Martin) sat down with the aforementioned Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q.

I sat down with Kendrick Lamar & Schoolboy Q this week! Here, the two talk about what goes into their live show, Kendrick explains how it felt for Dre to come out with him on stage in LA (plus the song he will make about experience) and Schoolboy Q says he didn’t think he was ready to charge for his music on Setbacks.
