Another day, Another reality series. You can’t add Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka to the list of people who want to show fans the other side of their lives. The two southern rappers insist that despite what fans hear in their lyrics they aren’t hardcore thugs and they think that this will give people the opportunity to see that they “got heart.”

“We show everyday life,” said Gucci while talking to RumorFix. “What we get into in [the] studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock N Roll lifestyle. Because of the music we make, people think that’s what we do all the time — but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other.”

The Brick Squad rappers are reportedly in talks with BET to air the currently untitled show, which will also feature Waka’s mother and Gucci’s manager Debra Antney.

“I think they’ll get a laugh more than anything,” said Gucci about fans’ anticipated reaction to the show. “I’m not serious all the time. People think we are thugs because of our music.”
