Excuse me if I seem a lil’ antsy, my aunt found my dad layin’ dead in the pantry…
We’ve been talking about Mike Jaggerr and his The Eleventh Hour mixtape alongside DJ Wonder for a minute now. It turns out the project will finally see the light of day on – wait for it – January 11, 2011. In the meantime, Mike and the team behind him decided to let go of two new records which feature him tackling some known instrumentals.
The above track may be from a song you may or may not know. In the case you don’t, the beat was previously used by Nas for “Esco, Let’s Go.” Like anyone else in the game, making music is a dream. In rare cases, that dream becomes a reality. Jagger is attempting to make sure the latter manifests itself. After a two listens, I can’t front. This was pretty good.
