Congrats to Rick Ross’ Teflon Don cracking gold status this week. Anyway, on to the numbers.

1. Susan Boyle – The Gift – 243,000 – Her fourth consecutive week at #1 and already at 1.4M sold. You see the numbers, my opinion isn’t needed.

2. Taylor Swift – Speak Now – 201,000 – So she did a milli the first week and a few weeks later, she was in the ballpark of doing a quarter mil. I’m not a fan of her music, but I’ll give respect to anyone selling records like that.

3. Glee – Christmas Album – 193,000 – I’ve still never seen the first minute of this show. Apparently it’s some pop culture iconic show. Their season two album also made the top 10 at the #8 spot. That’s money hand over fist.

4. T.I. – No Mercy – 159,000 – Like Brett Favre, T.I. also had a streak of his come to an end this week. What streak, you ask? Albums debuting at #1. The last one that didn’t was Urban Legend. Tip is at a crossroads in his career with the prison situation and his musical output. The album isn’t bad at all, but it isn’t great by his standards either.

6. Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday – 82,000 – I’d really like to see this push behind “Moment 4 Life” continue. Sidenote: congrats to Nicki surpasing the 500K sold mark this week.

9. Rihanna – Loud – 71,000 – A month after its release and Rihanna’s newest project still falls in the top 10. And you know she still has at least two singles left.

13. Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy – 67,000 – This brings the tally to approximately 672,000. My guess is he will be platinum by the Grammys.

15. Black Eyed Peas – The Beginning – 62,000 – I’m still in awe of seeing these numbers. I just knew they would been gold already. 181,000 isn’t anything to be ashamed about these days, but these are the B.E.P. we’re talking about here.

120. Soulja Boy – The DeAndre Way – 8,000 – Damn. How times have changed.
