Michael Jordan & LeBron James Have A Conversation

By now we’ve all see LeBron James’ controversial “What Should I Do?” commercial pondering whether he should follow his own dreams or live by someone else’s perception of him. A few years ago, Michael Jordan had a similar Nike commercial had explaining all of his accolades came from his own hard work and desire to be the game’s most iconic player. LeBron has been catching flack – both deserved and undeserved – since he announced he would be taking his talents to the 305 on July 8, 2010. The above clip is a dope mashup, even if it isn’t exactly “authentic.” Essentially, it features Jordan speaking to LeBron saying the time is now and the excuses have to be left in the past.

So no, this isn’t a “Michael Jordan response” like some people are led to believe. The idea behind it is right however. LBJ is public enemy #1 in the eyes of many sports fans and the only way to cure that is by winning, ASAP. It worked for Kobe and no one even remembers he damn near pleaded to get out of LA three years ago. So the same is for LeBron – win rings and all the animosity will cease to exist (except in Cleveland).

First things first though, he has to get this Miami Heat ship sailing in the right direction and improve on their 9-7 record. I still say he finishes the season averaging 24 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds per game with the team winning between 55-58 games.
