Malice Excerpt #3 – “Furnace Of Affliction”

Everyone has to follow their own path in life. For my fellow Virginia natives, Malice and Pusha T better known as the Clipse, I respected their recent decision to pursue different paths. It wasn’t a sign of me being worried they had a falling out or that one felt he was better than the other. For lack of a better phrase, it just seemed right. Pusha has since been making a nice name for himself as a solo artist under the G.O.O.D. umbrella releasing song after song with what seems like an even sharper flow.

It’s Malice, however, who has been the intriguing one to follow with  these video excerpts from his upcoming memoir Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked. From jump, expecting this to be like any other book written by a celebrity was tossed out the window. They’ve told stories about his life – earlier and current – which beg to be taken with the utmost seriousness.

Excerpt #3 focuses on the Bible teaching, the “furnace of affliction.” Malice will explain it better, but in a nutshell it focuses on sinners – those who have no desire to change their ways and those that do. Mal reveals that he and Pusha have an older brother who deals with his own spiritual and mental challenges including drug addiction, alcoholism and more. It’s a very powerful clip and one that could definitely spark debates on any handful of topics relating to religion, including believers vs. non-believers.

That’s enough rambling however. Just click play.
