This past Friday (October 1), I had the opportunity to co-host a private event with Shayna D thrown by the Diva Lounge. The New York based event was held in Atlanta as we paid respect to the women in Hip-Hop – both in front of a microphone and behind the scenes.  The experience was a fufilling one and one which had more than a fair share of women who deserved the recognition. Some of the honorees included:

For those who received the invite, the reception allowed for everyone to network which was a main inspiration for the event in the first place.
