Bink has been one of the talked about named as of late thanks to his production on Kanye’s “Devil In A New Dress.” Don’t disrespect him by conning yourself to believe that was his first marquee production either. To combat such, DDot caught up with the producer to speak on everything from how Bink and Ye linked up with one another, working with Joell Ortiz and his fondest memories of working on Jay-Z’s opus, The Blueprint. But instead of me attempting to paraphrase, I’ll let Omen tell it since he was there for the whole thing.

I put Bink in the hot seat about some of the newer talent that’s around and artists he’s been wanting to work with, he pointed out Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, Royce Da 5’9 but indicated “[Andre 3000] top dog would be like Dre 3000 my ideal, who I would want to be working with, like him on that Devil In A New Dress would be retarded”. I pointed out the buzz on the internet calling out for Ghostface to hop on Devil In A New Dress to which Bink agreed. “We should get all four, and get like an all star cast for that” he added. Next we covered new coming producers, and Bink praised Boi1da & 40, giving props to the Canadian producers “You gotta come into the game with that twist, inspiring and innovating other producers, that’s what it’s all about”. Lastly Bink offered his advice to upstart producers, stating “Keep ya circle full of, like pitbulls man, people who are nicer than you or just as nice. [cause] if you always the hottest cat, you can’t learn. Try to align yourself with [other] people who this for real, people who make you nervous to play a joint cause they just that tight”.
