Social Media has taken over the world in more ways then one, but it’s biggest impact lies with the way fans interact with their favorite celebrities. The fact that we have direct access to the thoughts of our favorite musicians, actors, etc. and we can directly talk to them (whether they answer or not) is incredible and makes us as fans pretty damn excited. Rihanna returned to Instagram this week after taking a very long and pain-filled hiatus. When she returned, the Internet exploded with joy and it became even more apparent how infatuated fans are with social media and their favorite celebrities. Some stars of lower status have to rely on the likes of Growthoid to gain a large following, but for someone like Rihanna, the fans flock naturally.
